Professional Experience
After training in Fine Art and Design, Lia trained as a Psychotherapist at The Institute of Psychosynthesis, followed by further training in Couples Counselling and Psychotherapy at the Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships. Lia is currently involved in further training in Group Therapy at the Institute of Group Analysis.
She is an accredited member of the UKAHPP and is UKCP registered. She has sat on the UKAHPP Ethics Committee and is dedicated to the future of ethical psychotherapy and counselling in the UK.
Lia is also a qualified Corporate Executive and Personal Performance Coach and is accredited by ICF. Lia has also trained as an eclectic Shamanic Practitioner, integrating this wisdom in deepening therapeutic work.
Personal Profile
Lia has a long-standing interest in the holistic connection between the mind and body and has been practicing and exploring various spiritual and mystical traditions including Shamanism, Non-Duality, Buddhism, Osho, Ramana, Kabbalah and Rumi to name a few.
