Francesca Pearce is a Mental Health Nurse with interest in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychosocial interventions and providing collaborative and patient-centred care.
Francesca qualified as nurse in 2017 but prior to this was working as a healthcare assistant in mental health settings. She has worked in adult acute and addiction wards in both the private sector and the NHS. As well as working as a community psychiatric nurse overseeing her own caseload and managing care of individuals with range of disorders including psychosis, personality disorder and mood disorders. During this Francesca also supported the running of the weekly clozapine clinic. Since 2018 Francesca has worked on the National OCD Unit, working her way up from staff nurse to ward sister to ward manager.
