Professional Experience

After completing her medical degree in Italy, Dr Corciova have started her Psychiatry core training in North East London. She gained experience working with a variety of people and pathologies in very busy hospitals such as the Royal London Hospital. At the same time, she began and completed her Ericksonian Psychotherapy degree in Rome. She then spent a year working as a Locum in Liaison at Kings College and other acute settings with adolescents and young adults in West London.

Dr Corciova then specialised in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry in West London working at St Mary’s Hospital and Chelsea & Westminster Hospital (Imperial College London- CNWL). During this period, she have continued working with young adults. Once she completed her Psychiatry training in 2021, she gained further experience in Eating Disorders at the Royal Free Hospital Foundation Trust, completing a one year course in Psychotherapy approaches to Eating Disorders. She also trained in FT-AN (Family Therapy for Anorexia Nervosa) at the Maudsley. During her whole training she has also been involved in teaching and completed a one year teaching Fellowship with Imperial College.

Personal Profile

Outside of work, Dr Corciova enjoys practicing sports, in particular aerial hoop, trapeze and cycling, as well as reading, travelling and meditation.
